Justin Haley slams NASCAR decision after no caution was called due to rain

Saturday NASCAR Cup Series regular-season final race at Daytona International Speedway was postponed because of bad weather.

The rain had also forced the cancelation of both Xfinity and Cup Series qualifying over the weekend.

Fingers were pointed at NASCAR for a huge crash on Lap 139 of the 160-lap Coke Zero 400 NASCAR Cup race at Daytona for not calling a caution.

A giganticwreck took out practically the entire field in the final stage of Sunday’s Cup Series race at Daytona.

Bad weather was at fault for the wreck and Kaulig Racing driver Justin Haley did not feel NASCAR handled it the right way.

The wreck, which happened just as rain was beating the track, accumulated several cars, including those of Kevin Harvick, Tyler Reddick, Chase Elliott, Aric Almirola, Denny Hamlin, Daniel Hemric, Chris Buescher, Kyle Busch, Harrison Burton, Bubba Wallace, Justin Haley and others.

Justin Haley, the driver of the No. 31 Chevy, was at the front of the field at the time of the crash.

Haley said it was “unacceptable” that NASCAR officials allowed the race to continue.

“WHAT THE F*CK WAS THAT?! IT WAS F*CKING POURING! WHAT THE F*CK WAS THAT?” – said Justin Haley

Haley expresses his frustration after no caution was called due to rain prior to the big wreck that took him out of contention for a victory on Sunday.
