Last week Team Owner Richard Childress offered an insight of what occurred with Tyler Reddick during the announcement of his move to 23Xi racing and didn’t hide his feelings whatsoever that he was not pleased with how it was all dealt with.
Tyler Reddick secured his second career Cup Series win, Reddick second of the season, and his first on the road course at Indianapolis.
NBC’s Parker Kligerman interviewed Richard Childress, to talked about the win, and asked about his relationship with Tyler Reddick.

Childress called out Reddick’s handling of announcement in his postrace interview at Indianapolis Motor Speedway.
“I worked with Kevin Harvick through his whole deal, and we made a joint announcement,” Childress said. “He won four races that year and we almost won the championship. This one didn’t happen like that.”
On the NBC postrace show on Peacock, @pkligerman asked Childress about his relationship with Reddick. Childress said when Harvick left, they made a joint announcement and won four races together the next years. "This one didn't happen that way," Childress said.

“What will you say to him in Victory Lane?” Kligerman asked.
“I congratulated him out there,” he sarcastically replied. “I congratulated the whole team. The whole team did a great job.”
Tyler Reddick will officially join 23XI Racing Team in the 2024 Cup Series season, team co-owner Denny Hamlin confirmed last month.
