With a distinguished NASCAR career, Denny Hamlin has won a lot of races in his career.
Joe Gibbs Racing’s No. 11 driver has a total of 67 wins across the three tiers of NASCAR racing. Among the wins include winning Daytona 500 three times. While he came short this time, there are a lot more races to come for Hamlin to add to his wins collection.

However, there is one particular race that Hamlin really wants to win, and that is the next Cup Series race at Auto Club Speedway. Having never won there, Hamlin seems really motivated to win the race. Plus, he thinks that the trophy is cool.
“I’d really like to win this race,” Hamlin said. “It’s really high on my list for this year because it’s a place I haven’t won at in my career and most likely being the last time on this configuration would make it that much more special. Plus, it’s got a great trophy I’d love to add to my collection.”
The closest Hamlin has come to winning the race was his third-place finish two times in his career, one in 2008 as he finished behind Jimmie Johnson and Greg Biffle and the other in 2016 when finished behind Johnson and Harvick.
Hamlin has the most starts on this track among the active drivers in the series. However, Hamlin can take solace in the fact that many established drivers took a lot of attempts to win a race here. . Martin Truex Jr. took 17 attempts and Tony Stewart took 18.
