After much speculation, Hailie Deegan confirmed where she will be spending the 2023 NASCAR season.
Deegan was without a ride until now and many expected her to make a move to Stewart-Haas Racing in the Xfinity Series. However, the team opted for their former Cup driver Cole Custer to take the place.

Earlier this month, it was rumored that Deegan will join ThorSport Racing in the Truck Series. Now, Deegan has confirmed that so is the case on her YouTube channel. In the video, Deegan goes inside the ThorSport Racing shop and confirms:
“That’s right, guys, I’m going to be driving the No. 13 Ford F-150 for ThorSport Racing,” Deegan said in her YouTube video. “And I am so beyond excited. I feel like this is such a great organization.
“Coming here and checking it out today, Ford has had so much history with ThorSport. …. They have a long, long history together and being able to see Ford and ThorSport rekindle that relationship and me being able to be a part of it, it just makes it even better and even more exciting.”
Three-time Truck Series champion Matt Crafton was also in the video while crew chief Rich Lushes gave Deegan a tour of the shop. She will certainly be aided by the experience and knowledge of Crafton as Deegan herself tries to push her level in NASCAR.
Specific details as to who will sponsor the No. 13 is yet to be revealed.
