Stewart-Haas Racing might be close to signing the replacement for the departing Kevin Harvick for the No. 4 car.
SHR have a lot to do for the 2024 season. Their long-time driver Kevin Harvick is set to retire from full-time racing and join the FOX booth in the 2024 season. Additionally, it is not sure whether Aric Almirola will return as the driver of the No. 10 car.
It leaves the organization with only Chase Briscoe as the certain driver going into the 2024 Cup Series season. However, the replacement of the 2014 champion is more converting for the organization now.

With not many Cup series available after the 2023 season, SHR might need to dip their hands in the Xfinity Series. And as per the rumours that have been circulating for a while now, JR Motorsports driver in the Xfinity Series Josh Berry has emerged as a major candidate to replace the outgoing 2014 champion.
The driver already has some Cup racing experience. He replaced Hendrick Motorsports Chase Elliott and Alex Bowman when the drivers were out injured this season.
Additionally, Larry McReynolds, racing analyst for FOX Sport said that he wouldn’t be surprised if Berry would be driving for SHR next season.
In the nine seasons, Kevin Harvick has been with SHR, he has won 37 cup races, along with the 2014 Cup title. As much as SHR replaces their drivers’ lineup, Harvick has been a constant for all these years.
