    In the closing stages of last season’s NASCAR Cup Series race at Auto Club Speedway, Hendrick Motorsports teammates Kyle Larson and Chase Elliott found themselves battling for the lead and potential win.

    Kyle Larson and his teammate Chase Elliott found themselves challenging each other for triumph in two different races, first at Fontana, and then, a couple months later, at Watkins Glen.

    In fact not only did No.5 go on to win both races, but he also took out the No. 9 from a possible race-winning position to earn the victories.

    Chase Elliott was left angry, particularly in Fontana, as he yelled on his radio, dubbing Kyle Larson a “stupid m****f****r!”.

    The incident triggered a Team meeting of all four Hendrick drivers and team owner Rick Hendrick himself.

    Leading up to this weekend’s race Larson is looking back on what transpired, whether he was truly at fault, and if he and his teammate are on adequate terms.

    Kyle Larson reveals “Watkins Glen Was Not a Mistake”

    “I think Fontana was easier to get over for him because it was the first time something happened,” Larson said at Daytona 500 Media Day. “I think Watkins Glen was tougher to get over because it happened a second time.”

    “But I think since then — I mean, it took weeks, I would say, to get moved on from it. But I feel like we’re in a good, an OK spot right now.”

    “You know, we both did an appearance together, you know, a few weeks ago in California, and we were playing on a golf simulator together. 

    Since then, according to Kyle Larson. they have both “moved on.

    “I feel like we’re in a good, an OK spot right now. Larson said
